I find it bizarre that they mention April as a possible return date.

Its wishful thinking at it's most extreme. It will be late August at the absolute earliest.

I understood it to mean off until 3rd April when between now and then a revised plan will be proposed/outlined.

Anyone on here booked to go to Toronto, obviously it's looking extremely unlikely now. Its gutting as the day we fly (Friday) is my lads 18th Birthday and it was to be the perfect birthday present for him (his words).

Be interesting to see what the plan is because we might be facing even more uncertainty in 3 weeks than we are now.

A winter season may be one outcome, I just wonder if all SL clubs have enough financial reserves and credit to make it through to the other side of this.

I've a feeling it will be a truncated season. Scrap the loop fixtures and maybe even Magic Weekend.
Then there is the test series against the Aussies in October/November to consider? Big money earner they won't want to lose that!!

Feeling for anyone that is looking at ruined plans. I luckily have gotten a break away 2wks ago. I was tempted to wait for the Toronto game, but I didn’t want a week away when the weather is not guaranteed. I hope you sort something out.

We've got until 7th April to get a full refund on house we have rented.
If there are no restrictions on flights we are still considering if we should still go however, unfortunately I think we won't get the chance.

I really don't think we will see any rugby till the summer at the earliest,had to happen I really don't think games should have been played last weekend, once football pulled the plug then RL should have followed suit.
