It's a pity that game was so one sided because I thought it was about to get real tasty. The ref who I thought was good - if not a bit Pie sided - did very well when the heated stuff started. Bradfot moved up quick then stopped a yard or two before the line, enticing the Pie players to show their skills. I wanted Sherrifes hit to be fair on Sam but he just was amazing again tonight. Didn't like Prescott going down on the Brad lad elbow first and I hope he gets a game or two for it.

...because he looks good in a poor league with ageing ex NRL players who had to leave Aus to get a contract. If he wants to proove himself and make himself a legend in the sport, he should test himself week in week out in the NRL. At the moment Billy Slater is way ahead of him purely because of the quality of the opposition he is up against every week.

IMO Roby is still the all round best player in SL, but Tomkins is the most EXCITING player in the last 10 years in english RL.

It will be interesting to see if he can do it in the 4N's. I hope and think he will be able to make a big impact.

As for the NRL and Billy Slater, I watch a lot of NRL and sometimes the lower games are very poor indeed, it's the SOO and bigger games that are so much more intense than SL, saying that though, what tends to happen to Billy Slater in big internationals? He collapses like a flan in a cupboard.
