| This really flaming angers me, Is Rangi Chase on the Overseas Quota for club level, YES, Therefore he should not be playing in the English team, Is the Sole Pupose of the Franchising system to develop young English players for the English team to start to compete with Australia, YES, So lets show all the young lads that no matter what the RFL say about the English team, Ultimatly if they can get a aussie in the team they will. I hope that the true Fans of RL do not support this and make damn sure the RFL know about it.
CRAZY !!!!

| I haven't been too fussed about the others but this has wound me up. Cas were knocked out of the play-offs weeks ago. Why wasn't he called into the squad then? Because he was waiting for the NZ squad announcement yesterday. Which funnily enough he wasn't a part of.

| Franchising is working so well that the kids coming through the SL system even sound and look like Antipodeans. Bravo Lewis & Wood. And bravo to all the SL clubs giving these youngsters a try - they are able to do so because there's no fear of relegation - which is why franchising is a good fing.
New English national anthem for the 4 nations: (to the tune of the Aussie anthem)
=#0000FFWe really couldn't give a sh** cos we're from down under
We like your Queen but honestly, we couldn't give a crap
I'll take the bucks when asked to play for Enger-land oh yes.
Oh Enger-land is my new home, the land of brave and freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Well done RFL. Oh yes. Imagine a franchise system for the International game, based on a set of "criteria". Jesus, England couldn't even apply to play against Rangoon

| Apparently in the September Edition of Rugby League World, he says in the interview with Jamie Jones-Buchanan that he'd love to be part of the 4 nations with NZ, funny how fast things can change

Absolutely spot on, with bells on. I've not missed a home England game in years but this now means I'll be saving a fortune and not attending any of the Four Nations game. What's the point in cheering on 'England' when pivotal positions are filled by Kiwis who made the conscious decision to move to the UK to further their career? I'm sure my bank manager will quickly be on the phone to the RFL to thank them though.

| To quote Englishman Al Murray: "point your finger and say 'shame on you!'" at the RFL and Steve McNamara.
If there aren't enough quality 'English' half backs in this country, who do we have to blame? Ours clubs, that's who! They're the ones that have continuously imported the antipodeans into our game and haven't brought enough of our own youngsters through. They new young talent is now few and far between as they are still fighting to take the place of overseas players. These overseas players may not count on the quota in some instances due to the Kolpak rule or residency, but it still does not shy away from the fact that they are still overseas players, and not brought through the ranks in British clubs. Then, if the RFL try to reduce the number of quota and/or other overseas players, our clubs threaten to sue the RFL with restriction of trade. I'm afraid, in the quest for success, the game in this country has shot itself in the foot.
