Is Fitz playing a part in our lack of cohesion? After all he takes the ball on most plays at 1st receiver; drives, very rarely passes and for me every game is beginning to turn into the Fitzgibbon show. It makes us very predictable and easy to defend against.
When he moved up to prop today we (almost) looked a better balanced team.
Fitz is a fantastic player, but! His appetite for work at times seems to border on the ridiculous and Agar seems happy to let him get on with it.

Fitz is far from the problem, he is just being played out of position.

Maybe more of the side should put as much effort in as Fitz and perhaps take a leaf from his book in regards to his workrate ? Just a thought?

I posted elsewhere that when Westerman was getting more ball and acting like a Pivot we looked like a much better team. I tend to agree with what you say about Fitz, everything slows down when he gets the ball. He should really concentrate on taking the ball up and using his energy getting his arms free in the tackle for an offload. Oh and he needs a rest during games FFS.

"Rest" you say! Now why didn't Agar think of that today? We should've put Washbrook on the bench to do so. Criminal for me to not play a player, it's also disrespectful to the players who are out there giving their all, nevermind to Washbrook himself.

I think before the season started just about everyone put Fitz at prop and Westy at 13, even Agar alluded to it happening when the pitches get firmer. Still don't understand why its not happening now, mind.

Read the opening line! It is not a slagathon. I'm merely stating that playing Fitz in a vital position and letting him take the ball in like a prop stifles our attack.

Where did he mention westerman?
Fitz puts in a hell of a lot of graft during the game and to single him out after it is imo a joke.
If the rest did similar then maybe we wouldn't be so to watch..
