Looks to be good news, seems as if Ted is wanting to sell up or attract new investment which is deffinatly what the club needs in order to move forward in my opinion.

Seems to be that we are going about it the right way by keeping the fans informed and also letting the rest of th rugby world know that we want to move forward.

Good look to the club, i hope we can get some new investment sooner rather than later and therefore invest some money into next seasons playing squad.

That's good news, but only if there's someone out there willing to invest and take the club forward. If ever that was going to happen, I'd guess that it would come when the outcome of a) the stadium and b) the SL application are known. Personally, I can't see anyone other than a vanity investor putting anything in before those things are resolved; if both get a positive outcome, the club may even start to look like a decent investment.

I'm running out of fingers to cross with everything that's going on, so I've borrowed some.

I agree with what you say but an investor could definatly buy the club or buy a steak in the club for a much cheeper price now then after the franchise and stadium decisions, there will be more risk, but ,maybe it is a risk that someone out there is willing to take in order to get themselves a bargain.

Interesting I wonder if its a result of his IVA for which the RFL rules dictate your not fit and proper to run a rugby club.

Heard it went to appeal but did not hear an outcome, maybe the outcome is go quietly.

Now you come to mention it I'm sure a Steak with all the trimmings will be less expensive @ BV than at Newmarket

If this happens it could take the club to the next level.

David Garthwaite (H. B. Clark's Managing Director). Life long Trinity fan, was interested in buying the club lock, stock and barrel over a decade ago but as I recall Ted was unwilling to release the club in it's entirety. A VERY wealthy man with good connections and a good friend of Sir Rodney. Fit's the bill IMO.

We need to strip the club down to the bare-bones IMO and instate professionally qualified, proven individuals. Take our marketing as an example: marginal at best. I'm 100% sure they're graduates out there, working hard on (mainly unpaid) internships, IMO any new owner/director/CEO should look to those markets to improve our product.

I'm sure a new owner will move away from the family business mentality we currently employ.

SBK your usually "in the know", you heard any names? As I said I only threw Garthwaite in on speculation.
