| Thought I would throw this one in here.
Listening to Lewis saying not good players to have a 14 team superleauge go me thinking.
I would suggest we do have enough players with the potential to have 14 strong teams, the problems however are multiple.
The salary cap plays a big part in the problem, it stifles ambition, it leaves little room to reward player improvement, if your up to your cap limit and a few players bust a gut to improve, there is nothing much you can do to reward them, it breeds complacency.
Despite what the RFL says some clubs have not improved in regards youth systems! They may have done well relatively but you only have to look at Wigan to see what good systems achieve, they have an abundance of talent coming through.
Low wages, some superleague players are on pitiful wages, again this is partly to do with the cap, Mick wainright at dewsbury is a good example he was on peanuts at Cas and has shown since dropping leagues that he is a very average player, the fact is their are better players in the championship and the armature game, who will not play for £15,000 a year!
These are just some of my thoughts, would love to hear what other people think, I am by the way not saying the salary cap is bad, as I value it as a way to stop clubs going bust and believe player complacence y is much of the problem

| Clubs spout about having q great youth set up then at aged 18/21/23 (delete which is appropriate) cut them thereby stifling any ambition
