Oh. Who was the last Salford player to score 4 tries in a game and was the only Salford try scorer?

Ok ok, smart ar$e. Before today...

Ged Byrne in April 1985 against Runcorn in the second division
Keith Fielding Oct 1977 against New Hunslet in the old first division
Maurice Richards Nov 1975 against Huddersfield first division
in season 1974 - 75 both Fielding and Richards got 4 against Hull KR and Halifax respectively

can not find or remember any after Byrne, but others may know differently

So in fact, the last player to score 4 tries in one game for Salford in the top division was the great Keith Fielding! WOW!

And it won't be the last time if they give the lad the services he deserves...

Correct. But let's not forget that the marked improvement in the pack over the last couple of games has given the halves and centres the space and freedom to move. Wingers are so at the mercy of the team's overally performance. WELL DONE TEAM!

he did score 4 (if you look in the records it says 94) against Rochdale in Sept 1989 in the Lancashire Cup, he scored once more after that in a defeat to St Helens at the start of November before sigining for Castleford.

I see Kallum Watkins has scored 4 today for Leeds
