Nine of the 2012 Broncos squad are Souther born and bred. This doesn't include Louis McCarthy-Scaresbrook or Darryl Griffin, also SL players, or Mike Coady or any of the Skolars players, or the Academy players.
Not a bad return for a 'failing' club... Just imagine how much more top talent we'd have at our disposal if they were 'successful'. The RFL development plans in London, with thousands invested by Sport England and sponsors like Hard Rock cafe, won't start producing senior players for a good few years yet...

I expect the number to rise quite rapidly in the next franchise period and this can only be good for London and rugby League in general. |
